2000 Porsche Carrera

911 History 

The 911 was first introduced by Porsche in 1964 to replace the legendary 356. From 1964 until 1999 the 911 used as air-cool rear engine. However in 1999, Porsche decided to change up that recipe and move to a water cooled engine in order to make a more power. This generation of 911 is known as the 996. This generation was initially rejected by Porsche enthusiast for the new engine and esthetics, but the 996 has become more popular recent years.

I acquired my 996 in 2021 from a Craigslist post. I loved the "guards red" exterior paint color and the 6 speed manual transmission. The 996 was perfect for track due to it's amazing 911 driving dynamics without the
